GTX Film strives to inform and educate filmmakers through quality events featuring industry professionals as speakers and panelists who discuss topics related to writing, directing and producing content for the moving image industry.

More than just a conference, GTX Film offers programs and events such as workshops, film screenings, and forums. throughout the year. In addition, Georgetown Film Conference plans to establish youth programs.

The year culminates in a morning conference at which individuals interested in film, television, gaming, and Internet streaming can learn from and network with industry professionals. Through panels and breakout sessions, writers, directors, producers, and other professionals share experiences in and how to navigate the moving image industry.

The conference includes a pitch competition and finale for attendees to present their ideas for a movie, television program or video game to industry professionals.
