Her documentary feature THE IF PROJECT, premiered at the 2016 Seattle International Film Festival, won the Lena Sharp Award for Persistence of Vision and a Special Jury Prize. She has produced commercials for major brands, music videos for Grammy winning artists and award-winning scripted shorts including PAST DUE which won a jury prize at the 2012 Woodstock Film Festival.
Natalie Metcalf was born and raised in the small town of Collyer, Kansas. She began singing in the first grade, and soon learned that she was a natural-born performer. She attended Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, where she lived for years performing, recording and touring.
In April of 2017 she packed up her belongings, said her, "I'll see you agains", and moved to Texas.
Natalie says, "I'm so grateful that I get to be a musician. There's nothing that makes me happier than to sing and song write. There is just something magical when a voice and an instrument can come together in a melody, to tell the story that is written in a song."
Her personal style is a unique mix of country, pop, blues, and southern rock. She writes songs with such a sweet and personal nature, the audience can't help but be captivated, and immediately enamored.
Special thanks to Kathlyn for making the trip to our beautiful city for the Q&A and to meet our attendees. It was a great time and very informative. Check it out!
